In a country saturated with new film festivals, many of which lack identity and meaningful content, at a time when spaces of artistic and civic freedom are increasingly constrained, we believe Novi Sad and Serbia need the HARMLESS Film Festival - a safe space for conversations about the harmful realities that surround us.

Harmless Film Festival is dedicated to films that deal with memory and conflicts, wars, revolutions, and other socially transformative events - as well as the causes that led to them and the consequences they left behind.

The festival welcomes both documentary and fiction works. We seek films that question or illuminate the mechanisms of power, violence, and resistance, as well as those that explore the ongoing processes of remembrance, justice and reconciliation.
