The Harmless Film Festival is dedicated to films that deal with memory and conflicts, wars, revolutions, and other socially transformative events - as well as the causes that led to them and the consequences they left behind.

The festival welcomes both documentary and fiction works that confront the political, social, and emotional dimensions of collective trauma and human resilience. We seek films that question or illuminate the mechanisms of power, violence, and resistance, as well as those that explore the ongoing processes of remembrance, justice, and reconciliation.

The festival is established and organized by Vojvodina Civic Centre. Founded in 2008 in Novi Sad, Vojvodina Civic Centre (VCC) is dedicated to uncovering, preserving, and publicly sharing personal experiences related to the wars of the 1990s and their lasting social consequences. Through research, oral history programs, and cultural production, VCC works to build a participatory culture of remembrance.
